Table lamp repurposed architectural pieces hand painted brown distressed shabby chic. This is a nice big lamp base, 18" tall under socket, 10 1/2" square base, 10" harp included. Shown with black shade (not included). The turned portion of this lamp is part of a newel post from a stairway I rebuilt. I reproduced the pots and spindles missing and damaged and kept the parts and pieces. The wood moldings I used in the base are from a different home renovation. I salvaged a large quantity of material from that house. After boring the center and getting it all put together I sanded it nicely and painted some white and pale blue on it for under tones and then the brown top coat. I distressed the painted finish and put a satin clear coat over all to seal everything.
